Drill press gear driven vario

This machine has a geared 6-speed transmission. In these mechanical stages, the speed can be variably controlled. This offers the great advantage that the machine is enormously strong in the lowest speeds, which is beneficial for heavy drilling, milling and tapping work.
The drive is provided by a 3-phase, carbon brush-free AC motor. The three phases are controlled by one motor controller. The pinole has fine adjustment with digital readout and features both hard and fine feed.
The milling head is adjustable 45 degrees to either side.
The X, Y, Z guides are dovetailed and adjustable by custom made keys. The trapezoidal spindles of the table are equipped with an adjustable nut. The router is nicely finished.
